ACLCの名称を Cardio Aortic Surgical Academy（略称CASA）への名称変更のお知らせです
2018年に、第1回のライブ手術を通じて心臓大血管外科手術手技をアジア諸国の次世代を担う循環器内科医、心臓外科医、麻酔科医、コメディカルその他の医療従事者と幅広い知識及び高度な技術を議論・共有することでより安定した手術手技と低リスクの手術手技の実現を目指しました。2023年には、第4回をマレーシア国立循環器センターと国際医療福祉大三田病院のライブ手術中継を通じて開催し、手術手技の向上を図りました。
今般、本会のさらなる発展を目指して、国内開催に集中することを目的に名称変更を行うことになりました。今後は、これまでのライブ手術の経験を活かし、次世代の全医療従事者の成長をサポートするために、より効果的な運営を進めてまいります。

We are pleased to announce that the name of ACLC has been changed to Cardio
Aortic Surgical Academy (abbreviated as CASA)
In 2018, we held that the 1st session through live surgeries, aiming to
discuss and share a wide range of knowledge and advanced techniques related
to cardiovascular and aortic surgery with the next generation of cardiologists,
cardiac surgeons, anesthesiologists, paramedics, and other healthcare professionals
across Asian countries. This effort aimed to achieve more stable and lower-risk
surgical techniques. In 2023, the 4th session was conducted through live
surgery broadcasts from the National Cardiovascular Center of Malaysia
and Mita Hospital of the International University of Health and Welfare,
further enhancing surgical techniques.
Now, to focus more on domestic events and promote further development of
our activities, we have decided to change the name. Moving forward, we
will leverage our past experiences with live surgeries to more effectively
support the growth of all future healthcare professionals and continue
to drive the operation of the CASA.

With advancement of the aging society, as well as over nutrition or social
stress, the number of surgery for the cardio-aortic diseases have been
increasing steadily. First open heart surgery using the cardiopulmonary
bypass in Japan was performed in in April 1956. After 60 years have passed,
surgical performance involving these cardio-aortic vascular lesions has
provided satisfactory results. In 2001, Prof. Kohei Kawazoe started the
Cardiovascular Surgery Live Seminar at Iwate Medical University for the
purpose of education regarding the mitral valve repair, which terminated
in 2017 marking 16th anniversary. Most of the attendees and the surgeons
in that meeting recognized the educational importance of the live demonstrations
of surgery.
Therefore we have decided to continue the effort and to establish the ”Asian
Cardio-aortic Live-surgery Conference”（ACLC）to share extensive knowledges
and advance techniques of surgery among the Asian cardiologists, surgeons,
anesthesiologists, and co-medical staffs through the live surgical demonstrations.
As per attached, we will have the first cardio-aortic live surgery symposium
on 25 August 2018 consisting with two adult cases from Sakakibara Heart
Institute, one congenital case from Shizuoka Children’s Hospital, and one
adult and one congenital surgery video live demonstrations from Korea at
Sakakibara Hall of Sakakibara Heart Institute in Fuchu City, Tokyo.
We hope that the ACLC can help the Asian medical professionals of the next
generation to gain new knowledges and friendship and to contribute to the
patients’ welfare and happiness.

心臓・大血管病は社会の高齢化，蔓延する美食・飽食，ストレス等を背景に増加の一途にあります．これら心臓大血管病変に対する外科手術は、1956年4月に国内で初めて人工心肺による直視下心臓手術が実施されて以来60余年が経過し，安定した手術成績を提供できる時代になってきました．2001年，岩手医科大学において川副浩平教授（当時）が僧帽弁形成術の啓蒙活動のきっかけとして心臓外科ライブセミナーを企画され、2017年まで連続16回開催されました．そのライブ手術を経験した術者・聴衆の大部分がライブ手術で手術技量を高めることができたことを認識しました。
そこで、我々はライブ手術を通じて心臓大血管外科手術手技をアジア諸国の次世代を担う循環器内科医、心臓外科医、麻酔科医、コメディカルその他の医療従事者と幅広い知識及び高度な技術を議論・共有することでより安定した手術手技、より低リスクの手術手技を達成することを目的として ”Asian
Cardio-aortic Live-surgery Conference”（ACLC）を発足させました．
添付の通り、第1回心臓大血管ライブ手術シンポジウムを2018年8月25日（土）に榊原記念病院 成人２症例、静岡県立こども病院 先天性１症例と，韓国から成人、先天性ビデオライブ各1症例を
東京府中市，榊原記念病院内，榊原ホールで供覧し、活発な議論を交わすことでより広い知識とより高い技術が習得できる場を提供したいと考えています．
参加者が日夜向き合う患者，それぞれに最適な手術戦略・戦術を実践する上で、このACLCが次世代を担う全医療従事者の一助となることを祈念します．
